Stairway to Freedom: The Biography of God

Stairway to Freedom: The Biography of God

Authored by PolinaJ

Who wrote the script of life? And, more importantly, why? The unstoppable desire of a human soul to know the answers to the eternal questions Who are we? Why are we here? brings Satan and angels
together to deliberate yet another question: Is the soul mature enough to know the truth? After passing a multitude of initial tests, the soul earns the chance to know the answers. But Satan has one final condition: the soul must overcome all fears, temptations, insecurities, and attachments in no more than thirteen reincarnations.

Is the soul strong enough for such a test?

WAKING GOD: THE TRILOGY

NOW IN ONE VOLUME!
NEW RELEASE

Authored by Philip F. Harris, Brian L. Doe

Discover what you need to know to get through the Earth Changes leading up to and beyond December 21, 2012!

The Waking God Trilogy is not about the doom and gloom that organized religions would have you believe. It is not about an Armageddon style 'end times' that pits good against evil in some final battle where religious dogma is triumphant. Yes, there is a final battle of sorts, but as Mantrella says, "It is not about saving humanity, it never has been." While the Trilogy comes down hard on organized religion and its 'worn out dogma,' it is not atheistic. Instead, it totally rejects the idea of some schizophrenic super-being that loves to punish and reward its servants, and recognizes a Universal consciousness of which we are all a part. It acknowledges that within each of us there is a 'god seed' that is waiting to experience an awakening brought on, as in any major evolution, by not only environmental, but also social, economic, and political stress that will help to create a spontaneous evolution in humanity. Or, if allowed to remain dormant, this same seed will be our undoing. The prophecies all speak of a choice. Nostradamus, the Hopi, the Mayans, the I Ching, the Riddles of DaVinci, and the Tarot speak to a time of choosing. Hidden codices, books of revelation, and ancient sacred texts also speak of this time of choosing. That time is upon us. The elements are all there. From bursts of energy from the center of our galaxy to the scientific discoveries about the true nature of our reality, the puzzle nears its completion.

Andrew, the young comparative religions professor, knows what he needs to do. He needs to give the still sleeping Adam flesh, by mating with a young and mysterious Middle Eastern woman known as Mara. The time is right at last, so what can possibly stop Andrew and Mara from coming together in fulfillment of prophecy? Well, for one thing, there's Michael. And then there are those who follow Michael, the great archangel who's made it his mission to keep humanity in its current ignorant and deluded state. Ranged on the looming battle's other side are Mantrella, Bringer of Light, and those who follow him. Meanwhile, Earth itself convulses as its inhabitants endure the plagues of Revelation. Will those who can stop Michael act in time? And even if they do, will they prevail?

Focusing on 'worn out religious dogma' as one of the leading causes of human strife, the Trilogy turns the mythical world of good vs. evil on its head. Mantrella, a.k.a. Lucifer, is the champion of humanity, while the Archangel Michael fights to suppress human evolution by preventing the physical birth of the biblical Adam. Human destiny is placed squarely on the shoulders of where it belongs: choice; our thoughts create our reality.

The Battle of Armageddon has already begun, but not the one religion portrays as the End Times. Can Michael stop the physical birth of Adam? Do the forces of good and evil battle it out for humanity's soul? Is Lucifer really the 'great deceiver' or is he humanity's guardian? Who can truly save humanity, if indeed it needs saving? All that is hidden is revealed between the lines and beyond the words. Will the 'dreamer' awaken? You must decide! In these times of economic, political, social and religious upheaval, the TRILOGY is required reading, now more than ever!

"...make the Da Vinci Code look like a church hymn.... It should make you think. Calling it provocative is an understatement. ...groundbreaking and revolutionary ideas .... Epic in scope ...."

"...angels are devils, and devils are angels."

Waking God Book I: The Journey Begins...what a journey! A story reminiscent of a combination of Divinci Codes combined with Lost, this book takes you through the adventures of Andrew, a college professor who finds himself in the middle of a battle between good and evil in which neither good nor evil exists, in which angels are devils, and devils are angels; a battle in which the future of humanity is at stake. The reader is introduced to mythical creatures, ancient civilizations, and forgotten universal truths woven into a fast paced adventure book. Harris and Doe keep the reader guessing and questioning everything we have been led to believe about organized religion, as well as the capabilities and truth of humanity. Would love to see this in film format!

And God said, "Let there be evolution!"

NEW RELEASE!

Reconciling the Book of Genesis, the Qur'an, and the Theory of Evolution

Authored by Charles M. Wynn, Sr., Arthur W. Wiggins

This book answers "YES!" to the question, "Is it possible to reconcile the Theory of Evolution
with the Scriptures?" Accepting evolution does not require abandoning
one's faith. Created in response to 9/11, this book addresses the continuing conflict between science teaching
and religious beliefs, the dangerous effects of scriptural literalism, and heightened interest in
interfaith initiatives. A JEWISH scientist (David Kay, Conservative Rabbi in Florida), CHRISTIAN scientist (Howard Van Till, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and Physics at Calvin College in Michigan), and MUSLIM scientist (T.O. Shanavas, M.D., pediatrician in Michigan) present scientific evidence for the Theory of Evolution and then explain how they reconcile that theory with the scriptural sources and beliefs of
their religions.

"Lucifer is not your enemy, and angels are not your friends. "

The Second Coming of Humanity
December 21, 2012. Doomsday? Armageddon? The end of the world? Or ... the Dawn of Humanity’s Enlightenment?

The last book in an epic trilogy, with a heavenly-high bar already established by books one and two, The Second Coming of Humanity does not disappoint—in fact, it yanks the bar off its stanchions and hurls it into the stratosphere. Eternal arch-enemies, Mantrella (aka ‘Lucifer,’ ‘The Morning Star,’ and ‘Christ,’—yes, you read that last one correctly) and Michael come angelically and mightily head-to-head and wing-to-wing in the battle for the future of earth and the fate of the human beings that inhabit it. In this gripping and status-quo-challenging trilogy, Lucifer is not your enemy, and angels are not your friends.
“Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods?”
That quote of Jesus, taken from the New Testament, is repeated thematically throughout The Second Coming. Because, and this is where ‘traditional’ ‘Christians’ and the organized church will shout, “Heresy!” and, “Burn the authors at the stake!”—Adam, who was ‘put into a deep sleep,’ is about to awaken. The ‘dream,’ all that we know—the Buddhists call it “Samsara”—the illusion of our reality, created by us all with our thoughts as part of Adam’s dream, is about to come to an end. If Adam awakes, humanity is reunited with the godhead and, returns to its birthright—as gods, higher than the angels.
Michael doesn’t like that idea. One bit. He uses all his power, magic, and influence to stop it. Mantrella is using all his power, magic and influence, to thwart Michael and facilitate the rise to godhood that is humanity’s birthright. He knows the complete DNA—including the ‘god’ seed—can be ‘reborn’ in a divine child if he can successfully have main characters, Andrew and Mara, mate ... they both carrying each other’s latent half of the necessary seed that activates upon conception. If that happens, “The Fall” of mankind is reversed, man is returned to the Garden, and Adam awakens as the whole god-being you and I and He, were originally created to be by the I Am That I Am.
A supernatural, spiritual/inspirational suspense thriller, The Second Coming of Humanity is loaded with twists and turns, highly developed and multi-faceted, fantastic characters from all levels being and non-being, and has an ending that ... no, I can’t spoil it for you. You must find out, understand, and manifest the ending, for yourself.
Authors Phil Harris and Brian Doe spin this tale with crisp, compelling, no frills and gutsy prose, along with poetic and deep passages that transport you to other-worldly realms—then smacks you right back dab in the middle of ‘reality’—or is it? In the end, it is up to you, to us, to awaken and create our own reality. The book gets to you. It pervades and inundates you. And it makes you, as you compulsively turn each of the final pages, wonder ... just who you—and we—really are, for god’s sake?

WAKING GOD-PRE-PUBLICATION REVIEWS-3RD EDITION

NOW MORE THAN EVER, YOU NEED TO READ THE WAKING GOD TRILOGY!
3rd Edition to be released on the full moon, 1/19/2011 by ALL THINGS THAT MATTER PRESS!

"Waking God takes the reader on a spiritual journey to a higher good that tends to break the barriers of dogmas that have kept people in the dark for ages.  Waking God by Philip Harris and Brian Doe will give Dan Brown fans a new idol.  This book shatters philosophical dogmas that the Church of Rome will be pressed to once again defend itself for philosophical deceit.

Waking God is enlightening.  It does not attempt to destroy ones faith in God, but rather provides credence to a higher power - the supernatural powers of the universe.  The forces of good -vs- evil is presented with credibility shrouded in mystery. Threats of violence together with intrigue for the developing hero and heroine keeps the reader wanting to know what happens next.

I encourage the reader to take this mystical journey that unfolds with carefully researched historical facts with a supernatural twist.  You will enjoy this journey to a higher realm of being and understanding.

If you liked “The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons or The Lost Symbol, by Dan Brown, you will thoroughly enjoy Waking God.  It is destined to be a Number One Bestseller. "

Abe March, author of THEY PLOTTED REVENGE AGAINST AMERICA

Waking God is the first novel in a trilogy by  Philip F. Harris and Brian L. Doe, reissued in its third edition by All Things That Matter Press. Though it is a thriller that can simply be read for its faced-paced story and non-stop action, still one would be remiss to call it a page-turner, merely.  For it’s also a fantasy, a book of religious, or is it anti-religious, or is it anti-religious religious, theology?  There’s the rub—the book refuses to be put in a box.  It keeps jumping out at you.
It’s also a story of love and friendship and trust on many levels, a story of jealously, insanity and international intrigue that moves across the globe, and told in a dizzying series of camera angles and cuts.  It’s a book of prophesy in the truest Old Testament sense. That is, it does not predict, or claim to predict, the future any more than Jeremiah or Elijah do. Rather, it allegorically suggests, as the prophets of old did, “keep on doing as you are doing and you just might end up in the sort of mayhem you seem to be headed for,” leaving the “there, I told you so” to the future.  Ultimately it is a book of idealism and misplaced hope.
It’s a book in which your grandma’s common-place theology is turned on its head and shaken like her old salt-cellar, just to see what falls out.  And what does?  Angels who may or may not be demons and demons who may be the ones wearing white hats and werewolves and old ideas that, like that old, caked salt in grandma’s old shaker, may have stuck together in the wrong way after all these years of unexamined religion and unaware life.

God's Vacation

Authored by Michael Davis

What happens when God develops a split personality, takes a vacation, is reborn as Spencer Perry, Gabrielle/Gabe Stevens, and Vrum, ends up in San Francisco, and forgets who S/he is?
Hell breaks loose!
Spencer Perry becomes Chairman and CEO of the
Global-Government and Business Alliance, and the most
powerful man on Earth. His government rules with an iron fist;those close to him call him Father.
Gabrielle Stevens gets a sex change and becomes Gabe. He lands a job at Upside Down Books, meets Carlos Martinez, and falls in love with a beautiful Jewish woman named Naomi Peterson. They join the revolutionary movement to take on Spencer Perry's fascist regime.
Vrum, a member of a race of androgynous aliens called the Ekawa, discovers the Focal Point is located in San Francisco and travels across the galaxy to bring Gabrielle and Spencer back together, but fails. The problem is, they don't want to be God.
Legend says there's another way to put God back together, but it's a long shot. If 144,000 people can become wholly enlightened at the same time, they can insist that God become whole, and S/he must comply.
GOD'S VACATION is a fast-paced, off-beat dystopian thriller set in 2031 when global warming has wreaked havoc and outsourcing has left most people jobless and hungry. It is complex, political, philosophical, psychological, and satirical. It is a new take on an old story. It is timely and empowering.

About the author:
Michael Davis is a retired educator. He was a political columnist and served two terms as a city councilman. He has studied western and eastern religions, mysticism, psychology and the occult. He and his wife live in northern California, where he is currently working on another novel.

MEET MR. AND MRS, GOD

"Shooting Angels" by Nicolas Sansone

A NASA Space Shuttle plummets to Earth. A team of eight rescue workers plunges into a treacherous Texan wilderness to recover the wreckage, and become entwined in a cosmic conspiracy. An uncouth disembodied head enslaves an elderly rancher and uses his cellar as the war room of its campaign against God, a noir-style slickster with a buxom blonde wife and a taste for margaritas, who rockets down from the suburbs of Heaven on a comet to do battle with metaphysical evils. "Shooting Angels" races from the jungles of Texas, to the dark corners of undiscovered space, to the innermost reaches of the human mind, to the smoggy streets of Central Heaven, where people are free to give in to their most detestable urges. The novel asks its characters to confront their ordering theories of the universe, and raises questions of how we are to envision divinity in a technological age.

Review from amazon user S. Lemme: "Shooting Angels" is an immensely creative and eminently page-turning first novel from Nicolas Sansone. Sansone's imagination delivers a world in which the outrageous is entirely believable, the everyday and mundane are eerily unnerving, and God (as well as Mrs. God) is a truly relatable being. This fast-paced and quick read allows readers to readily consider the "big" questions of faith and reality with good measures of humor, compassion and irreverence. Sansone's tight depiction of his large cast of characters, who range from the ordinary to the downright bizarre, contributes to his characters' accessibility and believability (in the face of the extraordinary). After this read, I can only look forward to what will come next from Sansone's rich imagination. Though his characters and their predicaments may be out-of-this-world, to quote the novel, "They are born of the imagination, but so is everything real".

Kevin Miller-Shooting Angels is both haunting and hilarious. It is a page-turner, which at times created so much apprehension in me as I read on my commute that I would jump when the subway door opened. Nicolas Sansone manages to bring worlds and situations which often sound absurd to life, so that you find yourself believing God really could enjoy living in the suburbs and smoking with his wife, or that NASA could have a grand plan for the universe in which we are all cogs. My favorite character was Mrs. God, who is every bit as powerful as God, and always speaks as though from an old version of the bible: "Telleth Me. I command Thee." His other characters who are working to clear the debris from a NASA Space Shuttle crash are made even more believable with the knowledge that the author actually worked as a rescue worker after the crash of Space Shuttle Columbia, though as the story progresses it becomes clear he must not have experienced all that these characters do. If you're looking for a gripping read from a creative new author, this is the book for you.
