TRANSCENDENCE

Our latest release in our line growing line of spiritual/self-help books, TRANSCENDENCE by Gabriel Horn and Amy Krout-Horn is a journey for the soul.

Transcendence is a mesmerizing book of magical realism seamlessly woven with threads of primal wisdom. It will reacquaint readers with the profound beauty of our mother planet, while turning their mind's eye to rarely realized realms of possibility.

About the author:
Gabriel Horn (White Deer of Autumn) is an award-winning author and professor of literature and creative writing, as well as an activist for the spiritual rights of indigenous people, and an outspoken defender of the natural world
Amy Krout-Horn (Last Word Woman) has resided in two worlds; the world of the sighted and the world of the blind. She has been a writer in both of them.

“The Native American spirituality of Transcendence is brilliantly played out in a series of vignettes as crisp and clear as sunlight on the ocean. Horn and Krout-Horn tell stories beyond a single time or place. Rich with exquisite dream imagery, these narratives evoke pain at environmental and cultural losses at the same time that their finely tuned story telling makes the reader turn the page, hungry for more. Transcendence is a feast of story telling, nourishment for any audience with a taste for truth and beauty, as well as the imagination or inclination to follow the Mystery. From the blasé brutality of the mall to the passionate breath of an orca goddess, Transcendence delivers what the title promises; these are myths to unlock the real. This text reads with the elegance and harmony of orature combined with a complex layering of sensual detail. These are dream journeys to salve the soul.”

-Francis Auld Ph. D. Assistant Professor of English, University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County

  1. Sounds deep and smoothing, Gibranish. Something our culture (and the world) needs now. Hope Gabriel and Amy have terrific success with "Transcendence." I'll buy one on Amazon.
I've just completed my own 'transcending' story of a heroine in primitive Mesoamerica. The spiritual nature of all the peoples' of pre-Columbian societies is a lesson in 'mind over matter', or more essentially, incorporating matter, or nature, within our minds to understand the essence of energy and spirituality inate in the human anthology. Our modern world is so far 'off base' with its superficiality that it begs for rescue. I tried to make my heroine an example of awareness and empowerment as she transcends into oracle sage and understand the harmony of nature and our humble place in the process.
